Sharikat Khoo has developed a Pocket PC application which will enable rosters to be downloaded to Pocket PCs. The rosters can be viewed and updated on the Pocket PCs and the confirmed rosters are then uploaded back onto the main system as timesheets. This solution completely replaces the present printed Rosters/TimeSheets.

The advantages of this solution are:
  • Replacement of paper rosters.

  • Security of rosters - rosters are password protected on the Pocket PC.

  • Full roster details are downloaded to the Pocket PC. These include additional notes and delivery details.

  • Rosters can be viewed in a weekly summary format, a daily summary format, and detailed format.

  • Clients can only view their own date and time details for confirmation.

  • Timesheets are confirmed with client signatures on the Pocket PC, the updated timesheets are uploaded into the main Sharikat database. The signatures can be viewed and printed on the main Sharikat database.

  • No fixed function devices or proprietary hardware - the system is available on standard Pocket PC's running Microsoft Window which can be used for other applications.

  • All software (other than the standard Microsoft system software) has been developed by Sharikat Khoo.
