  • Clients may pay either via Cash or Debtors. The system includes facilities for recording and balancing cash received. Debtors transactions are raised automatically for clients paying via Debtors.

  • Drivers, Jockeys, Kitchen hands (staff and/or volunteers) and their rosters are recorded.

  • The system includes extensive statistical reports of meals delivered and client demographic profiles.

  • Client menu choice includes:
    • Type and number of meals required each day
    • Secondary meal if provided, each day
    • Third meal if provided, each day
    • Presentation required
    • Diet requirements
    • Dislikes and excluded meals
    • Soup, Sweet and Juice requirements
    • Special meal and delivery instructions


  • A full meal menu choice facility is available.

  • The system produces packing and driver lists daily, the meal requirements (ordering report) may be produced any time in advance.

  • The system caters for 7 day or selected delivery days, with allowance for chilled meals being delivered on weekends or holidays.

  • The system includes a facility to record visits by Assessment officers, this includes a facility to note and report review or re-assessment due dates.

  • Holidays are catered for, with either chilled meals being delivered prior to the holiday, or meals delivered to selected clients.

  • The Meals on Wheels system can run either as a stand-alone module or as a fully integrated module of the Community Services System.

  • The system may be linked to a scanner so that client's menu choices can be scanned and electronically input into Sharikat.
